Yes my dear sisters it does take ALOT of work and very peculiar coloring to have and keep these "white satan " looking like locks. Here is my personal 7 essential tips for platinum blonde hair care and MAINTANance.
1. Purple Shampoo.
No not the violet stuff at the chemist thats actually made to dry out open wounds, mixed with whatever else.
A salon approved Purple shampoo is a must.It keeps the yellow that sneaks through when your toner starts fading out and the brassiness asswell.
2. Conditioner
MOISTurising conditioner, anything that refers to hydrate ,moisture, oil .
Anything that sounds "moist " to keep that dry hair shining
3. Deep-Conditioning Mask.
Same goes here with the "moist" part stay away from anything that refers to repair, keratin etc. this will make your hair feel hard and like sticks.
4. Get your Brow on.
Blonde hair tends to make you look pale and a very nicely defined brow brings out your eyes and makes you look not so pale.
5.Hair oil
Again I will refer to the moisture and you can never put too much of a good hair oil onto your hair ,try to stay away from your roots and just put a little bit on your ends every single morning.
Please note that there's a very big difference between serums ,silicones and hair oil. Hair oil goes into the hair and feeds it from the Inside where silicones and serum just sit outside the hair shaft and makes it look shiny for now then tends to go very greasy.
6.Dry Shampoo
Dry shampoo can help you stretch that extra day or two wash day.
It makes your roots lighter less greasy and doesn't make your hair seems so oily Please women with dark hair do not try this at home.
7.Toner.
Not the toner that you do at home but I always recommend to my clients to come in about two weeks prior to the service to tone the roots. This will make your hair last longer and stretch that extra buck.
Blonde hair is a very difficult hair colour to firstly get evenly right by your hair stylist
and when that is finally achieved it's up to you to maintain you're beautiful long blonde locks
moisture moisture moisture
That's my best advise as a professional hairdresser and also of course 6 years of personal platinum experience .
Ask a professional for a good blonde purple shampoo and get your brow on girl!
good day and good night.
